Earlier drawing of Raine done in 1998, pastel on paper, mounted on black mattboard. First pastel portrait I ever did w/out first sketching it out with pencil... the freedom & risk (of not getting a good enough likeness & not being able to erase) was fun, and I liked how it turned out... it had more feeling to it.
