S. S. Vasan

This 7.5' x 9.5' portrait was painted on white paper using transparent water colour which I used to colour the black & white photographs and was done in 1970. Late S.S.Vasan was the owner of 'GEMINI STUDIO' one of the fully equiped film studio in Madras, South India. Copyright: J. F. Designs

WONDERFUL! A DEFINITE AAA+++ '10' !!! I almost want to reach out and hug this man.... you have captured his life, his character, his hard work, his sorrows, even the pain in his eyes one often sees in mid aged or elderly. If you know him, please tell him I wanna hug him. Mary

Excellent! You are a perfectionist Freddy. Though the years have soiled the portrait to some extent especially the shirt and the background the face stands out. You could have done some spotting in photoshop after scanning. That could have renewed the painting.
