Before my birth my soul soared exempt from hindrance and restraint, free from the imprisonment of self. Through pain and discomfort I was born into a material world filled with a constant frantic pursuit of acquisitions. A world that professed the more one acquires the better off one will be. With these limited aims I began my pursuit of goods and services. I attempted to satisfy this hunger for these possessions believing in what I had been told by the salesmen of these fictitious myths. With these limited goals I had limited aims. Not realizing that no one can achieve happiness by seeking that which can never be achieved. The more I had, the more I wanted. The result was slavery. A slavery to the very thing that I was told would set me free. I had inadvertently disregarded the importance of the Infinite by my pursuit of the material. By losing the link to the Infinite I began losing myself. Then I saw in Nature the freedom I desired. It galloped up to me, in front of my very gaze, inviting me to ride to a new freedom. A freedom from want. It was Nature that first set me free. It was in this cathedral of Nature that I found my way back to the Infinite. visionary imagist "Joey"
