This is Mr. Dodger a cougar residing at the North Carolina Zoo after being rescued from an abandoned warehouse in Detroit. This drawing won Best of Show, Wildlife Art at the PA State Taxidermy Convention in March 2007 .
very awesome work,we had one of these around here years ago,was near my sister's house,they saw the tracks and heard it howl at night.
Artist Reply: I never had the 'pleasure' of seeing one in the wild, which is both unfortunate and fortunate! That would make me very nervous to see tracks and hear one like that. wow.

Artist Reply: Thanks Christine, but he is not as sad as he may look. He leads a very nice, protected life. So different from what he was destined for when they found him...
