I took a 2-dimensional design from one of my photographs [which was originally a cross-section of a red cabbage macro for a photo assignment], and created a silk-screen print, an oil painting on canvas, a batik, and a wood carving. This photo is of that carving. My original plan for the piece was to place glass on it for a coffee table. This one design proved to me that inspiration is all around us and we can never exhaust them! Copyright 2007 Dell Belew
