Low, Low Water....

The Greenwater Lakes Trail follows the Greenwater River (up-stream) passing the 1st Lake (1.7 mi.) and continues on up-river to the 2nd lake a half a mile farther. (These photos are of the river as it exits the 2nd lake.) We noticed the river was very low early on in the hike, but were really surprized how low the 2nd lake was. Much of this area is underwater most of the time, so it was kind of neat to see it in this way. The rains of November will probably add a lot of water to both the river and lakes. Thanks so much for stopping by.... :)
