I made this drawing because I wanted to practise on drawing hair.
This was a really interresting exercise, and also difficult.
It took me about 28 hours to finish.
Size: 23x31 cm.
Faber Castell graphite pencils
HB,3b,4b,7b.
Mechanical pencil.
Kneaded eraser.
blending stumb.
brush.

Your over-all portrait is stunning. I like the negative line work in the hair. Individual strands are good and build the rendering of the hair as a whole into a good solid finish. 28 hours well used.Anonymous Guest 30 Apr 2008
