I've been playing around with this painting for a long time. Going back and forth with the lighting and trees. I started on it again last night with the intent to have it finished, so that I could include it in my upcoming show---see my AW blog or website (www.jeaniechadwick.com) for information--I don't know about you, but when I get into that painting zone, late at night, without interruptions, I become wide awake, focused and alert. I've been this way all of my life. Anyway, it was finished about 3am. Usually I lose all sense of time and don't snap out of it until I hear the traffic starting up again outside. "Fall Lambs--Chester County, PA", 14"x11", oil on deep, gallery-wrapped canvas, framed. YOU MADE THIS #7 FOR THE DAY (11/18/07)IN FINE ART-THANK YOU! SOLD

This painting has such grace and charm! A lovely job.... I have painted a few at night too... usually I'm too tired, but you are so right: no disturbances, easy to get into "the zone",creativity flourishes!Alice Pauline Jenkins 26 Nov 2007
bit red but nice ideaJohn Sweeney 20 Nov 2007
Wonderful piece of work, I especially like the color and shading transition in the background trees and grass. Great job!Ann Fawssett-Atkin 20 Nov 2007
Beautiful pastoral scene. Incidentally I'm another nighttime painter... No one will disturb, no telephone will ring and all around the atmosphere feels empty of everything except what one is concentrating on. I do paint in the day time too but sometimes nighttime is so very special.. Anyway this painting of yours is lovely.Izabella Pavlushko 20 Nov 2007
