Hi I'm Taz. I'm home alone in Central, Oregon. If you know of a good home that would like to take care of me in this area, please send a note. My neighboors are taking care of me at the moment, but since they own a cat already (who likes his position as the only cat in the house) can't really take on another pet. I'm a bit handful. I might hiss at you if you pick me up at the wrong time. I drool a bit (don't know why). But I'm not so bad once you get to know me. My owner has accepted a job in Iraq and is trying to sell his house, so I'm not going to be able to stay here forever. I have a bed in an outdoor shed. The nights are getting colder with winter coming on. I have a heated water bowl and have food dish in a "dog" house. The house is proped up on sawhorses so that raccoons will not eat my food (which they do anyways). I guess racoons need to eat, too. So if you know of some kind person to take me in, I would appreciate it very much (like not hissing at you -- much.) [Creativesam here: I'm not able to directly do anything as I'm not his owner. I will forward any requests to the people in charge and they can then make the arrangements.]
