Artist Reply: Thank you. When I was painting this, I did not know what the "rocks" were. I took it to a fine arts workshop in Flint to work from the photo, and another artist, who made a habit of walking around the room to see what others were doing, recognized the location and told me that it was a decaying, abandoned railroad trestle. I love the way the sun shines through the middle. I used pallete knives for everything except the trees and sky.
