About a mile from camp, Marts gang came across this site. It had always been like this - so they thought!, because everything was at peace with nature. The scale of activity would surely have popped their narrow minds, if they had entered eighty years ago. Throngs of shoppers, hustling, frowning in contempt at the weak and slow coaches in front. Scathing silently at the slightest hold-up. Bruising, if anyone got in the way when time was precious. How dissimilar things were today!?.
