Thank you, Geoff and Lucinda

During the week, I got a wonderful mail from Geoff and Lucinda Cooper. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Hi Dear Nira, Lucinda and I are officially retired, but we do part time work, at a tiny school every afternoon. ( see attached picture ) It is in the very old village of Ilam, in the Peak District about an hours drive away from home, It is such a lovely place and we really enjoy being there, we feel we are in a big family with the teachers and children, there are only 70 children altogether. The reason I am writing to you about this is that the Primary school is a Church of England school, and at the end of every day the senior class, aged eleven years old traditionally sing 'Shalom' as in the attached picture, taken from the BBC Childrens book of hymns... It seemed so unusual to hear this but heartwarming too. I immediately thought of you, especially at this anniversary time. I told the Headmaster about you and the recent work you had put on AW, I asked him if he could copy the words for me., and here it is... So, Shalom my dear Nira, from both of us... Love from Geoff and Lucinda. `````````````````````````````` " Shalom, Shalom, May peace be with you througout your days;in all that you do, May peace be with you, Shalom, Shalom. Traditional adopted by Geoffrey Gardner "Shalom " is Hebrew word, meaning "peace". This song may be sung as around. " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Geoff and Lucinda... I thank you both for this wonderful notes and friendship during the years. Wishing you All the very BEST... Love , Nira. Copyrights (c) Geoff Cooper & Lucinda. p.s: shalom = peace = hello= good bye.

Has a very serene peaceful mood to the place. Age-wise the town dates back several centuries as indicated by (I think) Tudor-style cottage in the background. Shalom Nira.
