"Emerald Seas", painted 2004 during my cruise up the Adriatic on the Thomson Emerald. I just loved how this view of the ship, set against the brilliant blues of sea and sky, had an almost abstract quality. I wish I'd left out the fire hose box now though. 10x14" oil on canvas board. Wow, this is very awesome, Robert. Actually the red box adds a balanced interest. You've done a superb job on this! Yes, it has an abstract quality, but I also feel like I am walking along on this deck.
