Artist Reply: I do thank you for your generous comment. Part of the image does include a vineyard...at the foot of a steep hill off the Cuesta Grade going into Paso Robles, CA. The oil derrrick does not exist there, nor does the oil pumping station...albeit CA has a sufficiency of both.
