"Sioux Falls", 2006, 18x24" oil on canvas. Before I introduce my last piece to my portfolio, I just wanted to give a huge huge thanks to all of your extremely kind comments. I seem to have picked up some regular viewers (you know who you are!) and your praise has been quite uplifting. I'm sure many artists don't appreciate their own work in the way others do, and I'm no exception. So, once again, thanks. This will be my last upload for a couple of weeks, and I hope to have something to show you soon. But don't forget you can keep up with my exploits on my website worldtraveller.me.uk - all welcome! Until then, this is probably my favourite waterfall, "Sioux Falls". Originally I was going to put an indian family on in traditional dress in the foreground, but my mother in law stopped me and purchased the painting as it was. I'm getting quite a gallery in her house! For me, the water is its most realistic and I just love the autumn colours. I think she's happy with it too! Best Regards Robert Minchin www.worldtraveller.me.uk
