Regal White Cat

This is in memory of my childhood cat, Snowball. She was a beautiful regal cat, that was well loved. She watched over me whenever i was sick & stuck in bed, and gave me comfort and company. I was ill often so she was a treasure. She was a wonderful mother cat often taking in other orphan animals to nurse along with her own kittens. his include d a puppy& a baby skunk (descenented). She's walk down to the end of the block to greet us when we walked home from school like clockwork. She was the official guest greeter & visited the neighbors often to get more loving. I digitally painted this using an electronic drawing tablet, a Wacom that comes with a wireless pen. I used Corel's art software, Painter X to draw & paint this work. It is not the result of an auto convert a photo to an artistic effect look rendering. I drew it, and painted, just electronically.

very beautiful and well done,,,,,awsome

Artist Reply: Thank you Lawerence! Some animals are just beautiful to see. I've had some that were stunning, some that were goofy looking, and a few that I rescued that were just pitiful, mangy, and ugly. I see them all as beautiful, and love everyone. I seem t take home many that would not get a home, and they respond with even more love.

Beautiful job, the cat was a beautiful cat.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Margaret! I miss her companionship even after all these years. I've had a variety of cats, but there was only one Snowball.

ah, terry, she's a beauty!

Artist Reply: Thank you Emily! My dogs love me and entertain me., but cats demand your attention, and give it only if in the mood to. They truly think the are gods at times. Snowball was a more earth mother of a cat in spirit.

AWWWWWWM TERRY. SNOWBALL IS SO VERY BEAUTIFUL. MY QTIP WAS AN ALL WHITE MALE CAT.

Artist Reply: QTip is a cute name! This one had a fuffy tail, and a bit about the neck, but really didn't shed. She was realy soft and silky. One f her daughters was born deaf that we kept. She used t sleep on my father's chest at night He woke me up howling & hissing one night because my father started having a heart attack. My mother was sleeping right through it all. My Dad couldn't reach his nitro pills, but I was able to help him out. We had to sneak the kitten into his hospital room for a few minutes. My father lived another 5 yeears because of that cat. He must have felt the heartbeat change. We didn't think Snowball could hav any more kittens when she had this one deaf kitten late in life. We know he was a little mirical that she gave us him to guard over Dad. Thanks Sharon!
