Boat House Watercolor

This dilapidated boat house in Lake Village, Louisiana. Looks the same today as it did over 30 years ago. I thought it was going to fall down then, but here it is today still standing in the very same shape.

Resultative contrast btw the foreground and the background: it makes excellent air perspective. SASHA

I agree with Madeleine your water colors do look like a photo you have a grand touch with the brush you are like one with the brush. Just fantastic as always

Madeleine Weber 17 Jul 2008

sharon....how can you do this....the miniture looks everytime like a photograph. your realism arises out of your colourchoice....your are truly a master of colours and shapes

Gabrielle Stahlie 16 Jul 2008

Very fine,.. the spontanous touch, the colours... Sharon, Sharon...do you never sleep (just kidding....)

David Holcombe 16 Jul 2008

The pale background makes the whole foreground stand out brilliantly. I could have predicted it was Louisiana, from the flora and from the architecture (dilapidated buildings that never seem to fall down.)

Teresa Trant 16 Jul 2008

Your watercolor is so masterful and unique. I wonder how you can be so prolific...

Frank Maguire 16 Jul 2008

Now that you have painted it Sharon , the is no further need for it to remain standing. On that principle why not paint Messrs Bush, Chaney and and McCain?

Brenda Loveless 16 Jul 2008
