This dilapidated boat house in Lake Village, Louisiana. Looks the same today as it did over 30 years ago. I thought it was going to fall down then, but here it is today still standing in the very same shape.
I agree with Madeleine your water colors do look like a photo you have a grand touch with the brush you are like one with the brush. Just fantastic as always
sharon....how can you do this....the miniture looks everytime like a photograph. your realism arises out of your colourchoice....your are truly a master of colours and shapes
The pale background makes the whole foreground stand out brilliantly. I could have predicted it was Louisiana, from the flora and from the architecture (dilapidated buildings that never seem to fall down.)
Now that you have painted it Sharon , the is no further need for it to remain standing. On that principle why not paint Messrs Bush, Chaney and and McCain?
Lovely painting! I think I saw the same boathouse... we have been through there a number of times. The whole lake is very moody and interesting with the big trees in the water.
