Lowcountry Magic

2 ft. x 2 ft. pine board .. 2" box frame with second frame surround in citron green (can be removed).. satin finish. Done in housepaints (latex) and acrylic artists paints. This is a typical South Carolina view once you step off the road and find yourself in the quiet of the Oak trees and creeks. This creek is not fresh water, but a brackish water.. you can find alligators here as well as azaleas growing wild.

Really nice and interesting idea to utilize house paints!

Artist Reply: thanks Heather.. i am also a housepainter, so there is usually a need to buy sample jars of various colors.. after a while they start to accumulate..

This is my pic of the day. I get lost in the woods and wander back to memories when I was a kid playing n the forest near my home in Toronto. I love it xxx

Artist Reply: Thanks Greg.. yes, it does remind me of a similar experience in my own backyard,, playing Indians or picking the wild blueberries.. dodging bees..
