So realistic I can smell it. As a child I spent many hours exploring the inner parts of plants seeing how they were made. comes in handy now although i don't paint yet.

Awsome! Sharon, an explosive use of red. i like how you did the leaves as well, try as i might i was having trouble with leaves on my Ferry St. painting.
i'm cultivating a technique for flowers. By the way i presented my Ferry St. painting to the family that lives there. they were surprised.
Really lovely Sharon....great composition, whilst the eye is immediately taken with the stunning flowers, it is then drawn into the landscape beyond :o))

These flowers sort of looks like opened unbrellas, or red lily pads. But, they're very beautiful flowers :o)
