This ArtRage piece was done to support an article in issue 36 of Imaginefx magazine (about digital fantasy painting). Paul Tysall supplied the excellent idea of a 'fantasy life drawing studio' and I tried to do it justice. The article is about free and low budget software and how it's improved to the fringes of professional level in some cases. I made a point of not using any other painting software but AR to try and push the point home. A minor tweak to the levels in PhotoPlusX3 (Serif software - about £90 at the time of posting this image) was the only other software involvement. Copyright Nick Harris and Future Publishing 2008
