The size of the second one is larger (6x8 inch), but still far from the size you uses! 22x30 inch is big, would not fit on my desk! YOUR pencil work is AWESOME!

As you can see from the added REF, the skin is quite dark. I started with the eyes, and then decided to draw the skin lighter. So, the contrast is not intentionally, it just turned out that way.
