I loved the dramatic light in the reference photo for this one. It took many layers of paint, plus stubborn determination to get the atmosphere even close to the ref. Thanks for viewing, Ann

Despite the fact that it "took many layers of paint, plus stubborn determination", you've done an amazing job. The background which gave you trouble reminds me of Dutch masterpieces in museums- and the light reflecting off surfaces is really great!
