Sunrise in the Catskill Mountains. The place is Sunset Rock over looking North/South Lake. With the Kaaterskill High peaks. Catskill Mts. New York. One of many locations from which the Hudson River Artist in the 1800s visited, sketched and painted. My painting is Oil on Pannel. 13"x24". Just finished, and the brushes are down. I have been to this location many times, and it is always a great hike. This painting is part of a study process to a much larger painting which I am working to do in the near future.
