Artist Reply: Thanks again, Reba. This statue was covered in orange mold and some of the tombstones date back to the 1800's. Since I seem to have access to a number of cemeteries, I find they can make for some interesting subjects.

Artist Reply: No! It just so happens that I have a cemetery up the street where I live; one down the street where I work and two by my mother's place when I go to visit. I do however, appreciate the creativity that goes into sculpturing these subjects and how the weather and lighting alters their appearance.
