This Texas Spiny Soft Shell Turtle is obviously thriving since it looked to be about 18" in length. (females are the largest) It lives in a pond located in The Arbors shopping center on Preston Road in Dallas, Texas. It was up at the top of the water along with several red-eared sliders actually looking to be fed. I have never seen turtles behave in such a way.

WOW WHAT A NEAT AND DIFFERENT LOOKING TURTLE, BRENDA. GREAT CAPTURE. PERHAPS PEOPLE FEED THEM AND THAT EXPLAINS THIS TURTLES ACTIONS.

Artist Reply: I feel sure that is the case; thanks for taking time to view and leave a nice comment, my friend!
