Artist Reply: I'll tell you, Mike, no one can injure or kill an animal here because it's forbidden by law. Only vets are authorized to sacrifice them in case of severe illness or if the animal is suffering. But here and most in rural areas people used to "solve" the problem by killing the newborns (I suspect it still happens nowadays in those areas; it's a shame!) Methods are always very cruel: the kitties are buried alive and then someone pours water; this way the poor animals die so fast because they cannot breathe. Also few people throw them to a river or sea inside a bag.--- Of course, as I already said, people can go to jail because of these acts. ---- In my case, I think nature solves the problem by its own. I always feed ALL the cats around in Summertime but my house is very close to a road and the huge traffic maintains the balance. In Winter, no more than 5-6 cats are alive.

Artist Reply: Yes, she ate spaghetti and ketchup.She is one of the cats with no owner at El Val. They "are around" (food, you know) and are very friendly. This beautiful girl has nowadays four cute newborns. Two girls more are pregnant also and this means... I'll have 16-20 kitties outside on Summertime :-)))) This doesn't deserve the Guinness because I already had 35 kitties once :-)))
