The sights, smells and sounds of this place are so worth the hike in. With so much water falling, the sounds of the falls, and the stream that flows from it, are deafening and soothing at the same time. There is really only one place on the trail to get a clear shot of Skookum Falls and this is it. Once the vine maples fill in, this opportunity will be mostly gone, too. There are two better places to photograph the falls....from it's base and from across the river at the scenic view place on the highway. (Both places are already in this portfolio.) Wish you could REALLY be here.... :-)
