Artist Reply: Thank you, Sharon, for commenting on this photo! I wouldn't be one bit surprised to find a gravestone or two in there. I did find some flowers close by, as if an animal or something was buried there or maybe someone lost there life there. Who knows! I just know that it was so foggy that day and very eerie on the Blue Ridge Parkway! The fog engulfed us like a thick blanket and you couldn't see much at all! Driving was not very easy to do!
