Trail on the Hill

....did I mention moss??? Everywhere you look the moss at Flaming Geyser State Park is thick, soft and very green. Every little stick and rock is covered as well as the giant maples and cedars, two of the many kinds of trees that grow here. I told my grandson that it was a winter coat that keeps everything warm.... :-) He's 4 and believes his grandma!!!! Tomorrow, Enchanted Cedars... :-)

Maybe its just my kooky mind, but for some reason this reminds me of the movie "Creepshow" and th Stephen King segment with the moss growing over everything!! Great imagery, Mary! ~S
