Looks like a nice occasion. I recognize Mr. Randle Moore, landscape architect from Alexandria, standing on the veranda. Louisiana is a small place.

Joanna, You won't mind if I transplant that small oak to my home. Very beautiful

Artist Reply: thank you Bert. this place was originaly called seven oaks, one oak was lost to lighteing strike. however, a chainsaw sculpter preserved much of the the tree with his beautiful carvings of a huge crawfish, a pelican, a huge iberville map, and one from the base showing the age lines. all of which are beautifully displayed inside and on the grounds of the center. come see us sometime, its a gateway to all you want to see in your own backyard and you won't be disappointed.
