Shagya Arab

I did this drawing as my part of an art trade with a friend over at DA. She drew me a palomino, and asked that I draw an arab in return. This was very fun to create; I tried a new technique that stayed away from blending the pencil strokes, so it's all very liney and raw. Not sure how well that turned out - I'm usually a perfectionist when it comes to smoothness! ^_^; BTW, I love art trades, so don't be afraid to ask if you want to do a trade with me - but just bear in mind I take a long time over my pictures (perfectionism)!

Its roughness actually increases its inviting tactile feeling.
