About the portfolio overall: This Ball Point technique is an interesting slant on things. How faithful are you to the original colors of various works? Do you stick with them or do you adapt to your current pen pallette? How big are your originals? About this one: I'd like to see a larger version. What's going on in the sky--is that a Ball Point granularity or just something that came out in the digitizing? It's such a beautiful subject, in all lights; I was there once in the later afternoon, when all those bright colors had tilted towards golds... I think you've done wonders with the reflections in the water.

I know this monument, having lived in the Bay Area for nearly twenty years. It is a peaceful scene. Hard to believe it's out of ball point pen. This really is a form or folk art and deserves a place in the those collections.
