The earliest piñatas were made of clay and more like jugs than what we see offered in stores today. These were filled with natural edibles like fruit and nuts. Given what my little 3D offerings are made of, the title seems most appropriate. Two grey beads make up its eyes. It is 9.5 inches tall including base and 5 inches deep and wide (also measuring the base.) Original Jones Art isn't offering any nutty goodness but his own in northwest Austin, Texas. Added note: the head is removable. I've an idea to make several more for it.

I did suspect it wasn't Pinata. Details look interchaneable. almost like ours:)) Cool one, Charles!

Artist Reply: Well, the head is removable and I may make some 'extras' later, Nikolay. Now if everyone could do that maybe we could all put on 'our best face' on any given morning. :)

it looks like a pin cushion to me lol :p;D

Artist Reply: Well, this guy's body is bit too tough for that, Ray. But I see what you're getting at. Hope all is good for you today. :)

Nice ! very happy polka dots . Like this a lot Charles , great work : )

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave! The head is removable and I may make several for it. I'm working on a larger four segment piece which may prove to be a bit unchewable. This one is a three segment: the base, the body and then head. :)
