This has a very nice feel. Doing a basket can be difficult, and you did it with charcoal. Very soft and sensual-ness. I really like the fact that you experiment with other mediums. Keep it up!
Artist Reply: Thank you! I like trying different media, I'd have to say that I'm fairly comfortable with pastel, charcoal, colored pencil and acryllic paint. If only I could master oils, then I'd be happy!

This really a piece of good experiment u've tried. it's just need a litl light on the leaves or basket i think, somehow u need to leave it white on few areas.. it would be great :), U could try much better I think, you did great. :)!
Artist Reply: I was pretty new to charcoal, and I tried to add white by using white charcoal, but I now know that it's better to use a kneaded eraser to highlight areas! Thank you so much!
Artist Reply: Thank you! Detail is rather time consuming, I'm actually a fast artist, if I don't get the idea out of my head and ont paper fast, I usually never finish it! But since this was a still life, a basket that sat on my table for weeks, it was easier to keep on it. The worst problem I had was that the plant kept losing its leaves!
