Abstract. The original painting was done in oils which employed the thick use of paint in an Impasto technique. The central focus of this piece is a semi-abstract interpretation of an approaching figure. A figure which since time in memorial was always celebrated when coming home. A figure returning from war., turmoil, absence, trial, imprisonment, injustice, service abroad or at home. This is a new abstract digitised image of the original. Same content, same message, slightly different urban style.
