Buddhist Monk

51x512 cm. framed mixed medium on plastic glass this is another double face work on a trasparent backing. This is an old friend - he is a forrest Monk. They try to preseve the forrest from illegal logging. SOme even die in the attempt.

astounding, if only i had the money for this. I cant stop looking at it, he just draws you into the picture. I'm always taken aback at how much life can be given to paintings, and envious of the ones who can use paints in such a way

I HAVE HEARD OF THE FOREST MONKS. BEING A BUDDHIST, I HAVE TEACHERS WHO HAVE SPENT LONG RETREATS IN THE FORESTS OF ASIA. IT IS SAD TO SEE OUR WORLD BEING DESTROYED BY UNCARING AND IGNORANT HUMAN BEINGS.
