the black shines no matter what i do and i dont glaze them until after i shoot them. any ideas?

It is the flash from your camera. There are crystals in paint that refract light. Take the painting outside and photograph it in natural light. Then, there will be no refraction. Oil paint will do the same thing. Great work!
