I Vampiri: La Libreria

An installment in my series of paintings called "I Vampiri" (which is Italian for The Vampires) - a line of paintings that feature vampire beauties inspired by Italian Baroque & Renaissance themes and aesthetics, this piece is destined for my upcoming Vampire Oracle Deck being published by Blue Angel later this year. This painting called "I Vampiri: La Libreria" (which means "the library") explores the notion of vampiric immortality granting the individual the enviable ability of limitless reading, study of the natural & supernatural world, and the possibilities of infinite learning. The globe in the corner is an ancient "celestial globe" - one that shows the heavens full of constellations and their inpsirations rather than just the land & sea. My own original acrylic painting. My original acrylic painting. Prints available at http://www.zazzle.com/strangeling* and http://www.strangeling.com
