La maison de le Jardiniere

The gardener's cottage in the grounds of Chateau Fontainebleau Park. It was built around the time of Louis XIV and is still used by the current gardener today. Pastel and Watercolour on paper 16 x 12

Artist Reply: Hello Ann! Thank you for you nice comments. This is a little sketch I did in readiness for a larger oil painting I want to do when we get back from France. We walk past this house every day when walking Beau the dog. I painted it from a photo I took. Have a great weekend!
