this painting was also done for that challenge of using only the three primary colors. This was a real challenge for me.
Artist Reply: Thank you very much Ruth for that kind comment. I also love wolves as well as most canines. I enjoy painting big cats but the wolf hold a special place in my heart.
Artist Reply: I forgot to mention that I did this for a challenge on another web site where you have a limited pallet. You could use a limited pallet of red, blue, yellow and white which is what I did and the other colors are derived from the mixture of these colors.
