A relaxing and quiet spring fed lake in Illinois with a lot of fish. They fish all year round here even in the winter on the ice. Nice place to take a walk around the lake, but not in rainy weather when the ground is too wet and swampy on the other side. Deer and coyotes have been . spotted on occasion in the woods, but they usually stay out of sight. There are geese, ducks, and swans that stay on the other side. No swimming is allowed, probably because there is a steep drop off toward the center of the lake and liability issues.
