The building is a large comprehensive commercial center near Shenyang North Railway Station. Its rendering adopted gouache painting, that is suitable to express smooth, warm, bright, and vigorous artistic effect of a commercial building. I used dry and wet painting techniques for the solid and hollow alternating and combining, not only highlight the distinctive colors of key parts of the building, but also enhance the far and transparent sense of the dark and distant scenes, so that the image is full of depth, layers and strong three- dimensional, spatial sense. This painting was selected into the Third National Architectural Rendering Exhibition in China and published in “Selected Chinese Architectural Renderings 1991”. And the project was completed in 1992.
