The sunshine often illuminates the pump by the lake in Thornton, IL. The pump is kind of marker for the beginning of a walk around the lake. Foliage is lush this year from all the rain, water up, and I often see fishermen. Of course, they usually throw the fish back to swim another day, but some are fishing for their dinner. People are not allowed to swim, only the fish and ducks, geese, and swans and other aquatic life.
