- - - - - About the painting: This was one of my first acrylic paintings that I did as a late teenager... It is one of the more solid color canvases instead of being 3D or alight with colors. I did this painting one evening when I was a bit more 'depressed' (bipolar) and I really think that the emotion and intense feelings show through in this painting, which makes it very interesting and unique. The painting is also very beautiful and has shades and textures which blend together wonderfully to create the stunning abstract effect. - - - - - How I created it: This painting was done mainly using acrylic paints at first, but it was also painted at a time where I was experimenting with different textures and effects. I used acrylics, as well as watercolors, herbs, salts, even Savlon and baby talcum powder to create a textured painting. I also used not only a paint brush, but also a toothbrush, the end of a ruler and a stanley knife to blend the colors and create an amazing abstract pattern that is both flat and simplistic as well as being sharp and vibrant. Finished with high gloss paint varnish spray. The colors are a blend of darker shades, sea-blues and mainly violets and purples.. then mixed in with silver and white shadings. Together the colors make a pattern and are most like 'abstract art.' The painting is alive with feeling and is unlike any other painting that I have ever done. - - - - - General Information: This painting is the original artwork and so is of course worth a high price.
