Did Someone say WOLF

A small herd of Pronghorn Antelope in the Teton area of Grand Teton Natl. Park. Pronghorn are found only in North America. The name "pronghorn" is derived from a forward projection or prong on each horn. Pronghorn have true horns, in that the horn sheath is composed of fused hairs which cover a bone core. The horn sheath is shed each year in October-November. In comparison, deer and elk have antlers which are composed entirely of bone and shed completely each year. Both sexes of pronghorn have horns, but those of the female are much smaller (4 inches), seldom exceeding the length of the ear. Horns on males reach their maximum length, 12-20 inches, by the beginning of breeding season, July or August. This is a zoomed in image of them . It was taken with a 600mm lens. Too give you a idea of where they were with the naked eye. Look at the tree line and image them there. So you can see the range I had to cover. Also pronghorn are fairly elusive in that they do not like being encroached on. It is that predator thing. So the closer you get, they will usually counter by moving the same distance away. Also males (buck) usually stand out side of the harem of the does,Kind of surveying them and watching for other bucks who may want to move in on the doe's, so it is hard to get a tight shot of a herd with the buck standing right next to them. You can see in this shot it spans the width of the shot and I could only get 6 of them in the frame. And I cropped out the six doe for this image. There were about 10 does in this bucks harem. This shot was more for a group shot than of a indiviual or couple image shot.Just some background on the shot.
