A friend for life, an enemy, or just someone you shared a common space with as a child. A sister. Bound by blood and memories of growing into adulthood. Perhaps a fellow human who was ripped out of your life because of a death, injury or a circumstance beyond your control. Of all of these I am fortunate to have several sisters, 5 to be exact, and they all have different places in my heart. From distant, hurtful memories to a person of safety and security and let us not forget, a friend. As the years pass memories fade, old wounds heal, and newfound bonds are formed. Forever and a day, sisters.
