This photo of a Brown Pelican in flight is in my opinion the best shot I have produced in almost a year because it shows the intensity of flight in the eyes of the bird and the grace of his flight over heavy waves in the surf. They (The Brown Pelican) are social and comical birds until they take to the air then they become graceful, magnificent, a marvel to watch. Here I am presenting them as a duotone in heavy shades of brown.
