This is a special girl here. This is Denise. In addition to being a great friend of mine she was my very first model. I took this picture on one of our outings. We went to Cleveland Ohio's Little Italy and we were shopping around for ideas for Denise's art project. We happened upon a restaurant that had a outdoor dining area that was closed off to the public. We snuck in and took some pictures in a curvy brick staircase. I remember we were just getting to know each other back then and there was an awkward excitement in the air. Every laugh came a little easier and the pizza we shared seemed to taste extra rich.
