The name of the musical, directly translated to English, is “The story of the fallen city”. Unlike most musicals, the storyline is quite complicated. It talks about crimes, government conspiracy, the numbness of society, and the helpless struggle of the young generation. In the end, there is no saving and no way out. With a tight plot and engaging music, the first half of the musical is intriguing. I love the lyrics of the songs. It adds some humor and irony to the performance with catch-up phrases and famous quotes. It is like a wink to the Taiwanese audience.
