" Cyclist " a contemporary abstract painting by joseph piccillo is a 36 x 36 modern palette knife acrylic n museum stretched canvas. A part of my abstract figurative exploration of ordinary events we see in our lives. As my son is a competitive bike racer I was introduced to this amazing sport. The struggle required to compete in this endeavor stands as a metaphor and example of how to deal with life.
